How is coaching different from your courses?

Courses teach frameworks and principles to many people. Coaching diagnoses YOUR specific situation. Think of it like the difference between a medical textbook and a doctor's visit. Courses give you knowledge; coaching applies that knowledge to YOUR unique challenges, goals, and context. Many clients have taken my courses and then book coaching for personalized implementation guidance.

What should I prepare before the session?

Come with specific challenges, questions, or goals. If you have an existing system (even a messy one), share it beforehand so I can diagnose efficiently. The more context you provide, the more targeted our session can be. Booking confirmation includes detailed preparation guidance.

Do you only coach on Obsidian?

No. While I'm an Obsidian expert, my coaching is tool-agnostic. The principles of system design, knowledge capture, and organization work regardless of whether you use Obsidian, Notion, Roam, or anything else. We can discuss specific tool guidance, but the real value is in principles that transfer across platforms.

You leave with a clear action plan. But the relationship doesn't end there. I remain available for follow-up questions. Many clients reach out weeks later when implementing and need quick clarification. This continued support is included.

Can I book multiple sessions?

Absolutely. Some clients book a single session and that's enough. Others prefer ongoing support with follow-up sessions every few weeks or months. Purchase additional sessions as needed. There's no commitment required.

What timezone are you in?

I'm based in Belgium (CET/CEST). The booking process includes scheduling options that work across different timezones. We'll find a time that works for both of us.

What makes your coaching different from other PKM coaches?

Two things: real practice and principles. I've practiced PKM as an author, entrepreneur, IT architect, and content creator; not as a theorist. And I don't prescribe my exact system. I help you understand WHY certain approaches work so you can build your own system. My background in software architecture means I approach PKM as a design problem, not a tool problem.
